Peter McCarthy, AE Smith’s Melbourne General Manager says the relationship with Ronald McDonald House has far reaching benefits.

“It gives our day-to-day work another dimension. Our team are always really keen to get there to help the kids.”

“We’re really proud of the Joint Venture project AE Smith delivered at the new Royal Children’s Hospital. Knowing that Ronald McDonald House Parkville is such an important part of the Royal Children’s highlights just how important we feel it is for families doing it tough to get as much help as we can muster,” adds Peter.

“We’re thrilled to be able to support two RMH’s in Melbourne alone, plus four others around the country. We provide the labour to service the air conditioning at no charge and if we can help out in other ways too, we do.”

General Manager of RMH Parkville, Peter Bishop says AE Smith’s assistance is invaluable.

“We are so appreciative of the approach and support from AE Smith. Every cent means we have more do what we do best – looking after families of seriously ill kids.”

In addition to the pro bono help and support AE Smith provides RMH Monash and Parkville in Melbourne, AE Smith also helps Ronald McDonald Houses in Perth, Brisbane, Townsville and Sydney.

In total providing around $60,000 of in-kind air conditioning and maintenance service annually.
