We’re pretty proud of our customer relationships and Southern Cross Care is an example of how we aim to go beyond customer and supplier exchanges

Perth General Manager, Graeme Stewart recently put his passion for pedal power into a worthy cause by participating in the annual RAC Great Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma.

Inviting top customers to join the endurance challenge, Graeme sponsored and lead a team of eight in the 70km bike ride along Perth’s Kwinana Freeway from Mandurah to the CBD.

“It’s a great way to involve customers in some of the community initiatives we support and participate together in a really fun and worthwhile event,” says Graeme.

Amongst the customers participating was long time AE Smith client, Southern Cross Care.

“We’re pretty proud of our customer relationships and Southern Cross Care is an example of how we aim to go beyond customer and supplier exchanges,” says Graeme. “We support their aged care events and fundraising initiatives too and we were delighted they could be involved in this ride with us.”

This is the second year the “Team AE Smith” participated in the Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma and Graeme is looking forward to fielding an even larger team in 2014.
